From March 12 to 14, the Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF) was
grandly held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. As a highly
influential event in the global leather industry, this exhibition focused on
sustainable development, material innovation, and supply-chain optimization. It
brought together industry elites, renowned exhibitors, and professional buyers from around the world to discuss industry trends and explore collaborative
business opportunities.
At this Hong Kong Leather Exhibition, Tingjiang New Materials
attached great importance to the event and made meticulous preparations. Led
personally by Ren Shijun, Deputy General Manager and General Manager of the
Leather Chemicals Division, the company assembled an elite exhibition team comprising
more than ten seasoned professionals from sales, technical application, and
R&D departments. At the exhibition site, Shi Bi, an academician of the
Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor at Sichuan University, along
with his research team, visited Tingjiang New Materials’ booth in person,
lending their authoritative endorsement to the company’s technological
innovations and significantly enhancing the booth’s visibility and
professionalism—making it one of the highlights of the entire exhibition.
The current global situation is complex and ever-changing. Thanks to
its stable development environment, vast market potential, and a high-level
commitment to opening up to the world, China has attracted groups of exhibitors
from global leather industry powerhouses such as Italy, France, Turkey, Brazil,
and Australia. As a result, international markets continue to show growing
interest in China’s leather industry. At the same time, China’s leather
chemicals sector is experiencing leapfrog development. Domestic leather
chemical companies—represented by Tingjiang New Materials—have risen strongly,
completely breaking the long-standing monopoly held by international giants.
Once-leading players in the industry are undergoing business transformations
and reshaping the market landscape. Meanwhile, Tingjiang New Materials, thanks
to its relentless technological innovation, has captured a significant market
share in core areas such as waterproofing agents, demonstrating solid and
reliable performance. Actively participate in international
competition and gradually reshape the global leather and chemical industry
landscape.
At this exhibition, Tingjiang New Materials not only showcased its
flagship products—such as chrome-free tanning agents and water-repellent treatments—but
also made a major debut of a new series of high-end fatliquors, comprehensively
demonstrating the company’s R&D innovation capabilities and product
portfolio strengths in the leather chemicals field. During the exhibition,
numerous strategic customers—including Xingye, Xiangzhou, Xinglong, Xinghao,
and Jiatie—made special visits to Tingjiang’s booth. Both sides engaged in
in-depth discussions on topics such as product applications, technological
upgrades, and long-term cooperation, further strengthening the foundation of
their collaboration and building shared consensus for future development.
This appearance at the Hong Kong Asia-Pacific
Leather Fair marks Tingjiang New Materials’ significant step in deepening its
industry expertise and expanding its global presence. The fair not only
provides an efficient platform for the company to connect with both new and
existing customers, strengthening strategic partnerships and fostering closer
ties, but also enables the global industry to witness the innovative strength
and development potential of Chinese leather chemical enterprises. By precisely
identifying emerging trends in the industry, this event injects powerful
momentum into companies’ efforts to expand into international markets and drive
technological upgrades.
In the future, Tingjiang New Materials will
remain committed to its original aspiration of technological innovation, deeply
cultivating the leather chemicals sector. With higher-quality products and
cutting-edge technologies, we will join hands with global partners to share
